Leading Internet TV Networks Begin Cross-Promotion of Top-Tier Programming

New York, NY November 14, 2007 – Blip.tv, an online television network focused on shows, and Revision3, the TV Network for the Internet generation, today announced they have entered into an agreement to cross-promote their top shows.

The partnership will begin with cross-promotion between Revision3′s Web Drifter and blip.tv’s Geek Entertainment TV. Web Drifter is a comedy program that introduces viewers to the creators of some of the most outrageous sites on the Web, and GETV reports “from deep inside the Internet bubble,” interviewing the best, sometimes brightest and definitely the geekiest of geeks.

Each show will run postroll advertisements promoting the other show.

The next round of promotions will be between blip.tv’s Make, a production of O’Reilly & Associates and Revision3′s Systm. Both shows focus on do-it-yourself projects for the common geek.

Quote attributable to Dina Kaplan, co-founder and COO of blip.tv: “We’re thrilled to be working with Revision3 in this capacity. Both of our companies are focused on supporting and promoting the best shows on the Web. Our models are different but incredibly complementary: blip.tv provides services to show producers but does not produce content itself, and Revision3 produces terrific content. It’s only natural that we would begin to work together to promote great programming on the Web.”

Quote attributable to Jim Louderback, CEO of Revision3: “Both Revision3 and blip.tv are focused on bringing, high quality original programming that speaks to the subjects audiences are passionate about. By working together we can help increase awareness of the fact that there’s phenomenal content to be found on Revision3 and blip.tv that you can’t find anywhere else. This advertising program will help expose audiences to the kinds of shows they want to see.”
